Nokia 9 Spotted On GeekBench With _GB of RAM

We got some leaks & rumours about Nokia’s new flagship phone, Nokia 9. Recently we got bunch of leaks in terms of photos, camera samples & specs of the device. Now today we have got another leak regarding the same. Nokia 9 has been spotted on the benchmarking website Geekbench. There’s an interesting leak for the device, so let’s have a look itself.

If you are a little bit surprised with the benchmark results below, I would tell you that this benchmark was run by the older Geekbench 3.4.1 . So these results of 615 for single core and 1116 for multi core is pretty good. This phone is running on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 octa core processor, as ‘ARM implementer 81 architecture 8 variant 10 part 2048 revision 1’ is the Snapdragon 835 which we found on other phones having the same processor. It runs on Android 7.1.1 nougat, mostly with near stock UI same as Nokia 6. This phone is codenamed as ‘Unknown Heart’.

Now coming to the surprising spec of this leak, this Nokia 9 will have a massive 8GB of RAM. It might turn out to be one of the earliest phone with 8GB of RAM after Asus Zenfone AR. Chances are there that OnePlus 5 also might have an 8GB RAM variant. But according to previous leak, there will be a 4GB RAM variant of Nokia 9 as well. Well as of now we are little confused or I would say willing to know, that is there a need of 8GB RAM ? Even Android apps and games haven’t took the advantage of 6GB of RAM. As of now the only advantage of having 8GB RAM is that the phone will be future proof.

So that’s all the information we have as of now. As of now we don’t have any information regarding the launch of Nokia 9 but it should launch soon, maybe in 3rd quarter of this year. Stay tuned with us for more information.
