HMD Global, the official licensee of Nokia mobiles scheduled an event on March 19 in London but today the company has announced that there is a change in its plan and the company will host the event via online only.
The company took the decision in the background of the outbreak of Coronavirus and the same disease already affected very hardly in the industry as well as the entire globe and that forced brands and GSMA to cancel many popular events including the prestigious MWC 2020 event. HMD Global will launch its new products as per the planning but the same will happen through the online event.
Moreover, HMD Global has also confirmed that the company will launch its first 5G enabled device and it is already rumoured that the company will launch the Nokia 8.2 5G during the event.
The company will start the event at 4:30 p.m. GMT and 10:00 p.m. IST on March 19 which means tomorrow and the same can be streamed through the official YouTube channel of the company.
Apart from the Nokia 8.2 5G, the company is also expected to unveil an entry level Nokia 1.3, and Nokia 5.3 phones at the tomorrow’s event.
