Early this month, we came across a report which suggested that HMD Global owned Nokia is all set to launch Smart TVs in the market of India by joining hands with Flipkart. Well, now we got the information about the launch date of the upcoming Nokia Smart TV.
Nokia started to send out press invites for the event on December 5 where the company will launch the first ever Nokia branded Smart TV. Having said that, HMD Global has clarified that there is no involvement with the television, as it is manufactured by the Flipkart, and the e-Commerce player will distribute and manage the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for the upcoming Nokia Smart TV.
It is worth to mention that this is not for the first time Flipkart joining hand for the televisions in the Indian market, as the company already launched Motorola Smart televisions in India under a similar kind of partnership.
