It is confirmed that the Nothing Phone 2 and Phone 2a devices will be receiving the stable version of the latest Nothing OS 3.0 and it is worth mentioning that the new custom skin of the company is based on the Android 15 operating system.
The company has said that the other models of the brand can expect the new update by the end of next year. The above mentioned devices will be receiving the new update via OTA. Users of the devices can check the update manually by opening the settings app.

The latest Nothing OS 3.0 update brings a new native Nothing Gallery app and the same features an advanced search function along with the capability to expand editing tools such as filters, markup, and suggestions. It is also confirmed that the lock screen has been redesigned and it is fully customizable such as with Shared Widgets that help you interact with friends and family. The operating system will also come with a new Countdown Widget and the AI-powered Smart Drawer that will automatically categorize your apps into folders.
Nothing has also improved Quick Settings, an enhanced Pop-up View, updated typography throughout the OS, and “visual and performance enhancements”.
