Nothing is gearing up to launch its first smartphone called the Nothing Phone 1 on July 12 in an event named “Return to Instinct”. The company has also revealed that the device will be available in India via Flipkart as well. The hype for the smartphone is at the sky level and now the company has revealed its plan to sell the device which will make the fans to wait for more hands-on the device. Nothing has officially confirmed that the company will have an invite system to sell the smartphone which means the company is following the footsteps of OnePlus, and why not as the mastermind is the same. The backbone of the brand Carl Pei has officially confirmed that the company is choosing the invite system to sell the smartphone and it also revealed the design and manufacturing process in a newly shared video on the official YouTube channel of Nothing.
The video has revealed the details of the designing setup of the upcoming smartphone along with its manufacturing process. It is revealed that the company has used recycled aluminum for manufacturing the phone. It is also revealed that the device will have an invite system for the initial sales.
Nothing backbone Carl Pei used the same card for the OnePlus in the initial stages and the strategy helped the brand to push the sales as well.
The topmost executive of Nothing explains that the brand is small and it is not capable of the resources for mass production in one go. This made the company select the invite system for its upcoming Nothing Phone 1.
He has also said that the company learned a lesson from its first ever product Nothing Ear (1) which was launched last year and the company struggled to sell the device because it was selling like hotcakes. The invite system will definitely help the company to sell the devices and also create hype. This strategy will also help the company to avoid delays in shipping as well.
The upcoming Nothing Phone 1 is listed on the popular benchmarking website Geekbench and confirmed that the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 778+ mobile processor along with 8GB RAM.
