The beloved Chinese smartphone company, OnePlus has finally taken wraps off its new OnePlus Nord CE 5G which is the second smartphone in the Nord lineup to debut in India. As expected this sub Rs. 30K smartphone is here to challenge the likes of Realme X7 Max and Samsung Galaxy A52.
The CE in the Nord CE 5G stands for Core Edition. It features an all-plastic build and will come in Blue Void, Charcoal Ink, and Silver Ray colours. It features a higher refresh rate display and is powered by a Qualcomm made the chipset. The rear camera setup consists of three cameras as well. Specifications of the OnePlus Nord CE 5G
Starting with the display, both the smartphones sport a 6.4-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution. The 20:9 aspect ratio display has a 90 Hz refresh rate as well. The smartphones feature a punch-hole setup on the top left corner of the display for the selfie camera.
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 750G consisting of Kryo 570 cores and is paired with Adreno 619 GPU. The smartphone has the options of up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and a storage combo of up to 256 GB variant as well.
Coming to the camera department, Nord CE 5G has a triple rear camera setup beginning with a 64-megapixel primary sensor that has an f/1.8 lens. It is followed by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor paired with a 119-degree FOV lens. Finally, there is a 2-megapixel monochrome camera with an f/2.4 aperture to take the count to three. The front camera is the tried and tested 16-megapixel with f/2.5 aperture.
Pricing and Availability
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G pricing starts at ₹22,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. The company has set a price tag of ₹24,999 / €329 / £299 for the 8GB + 128GB model. Finally, the maxed-out 12GB + 256GB version will go on sale for 27,999 / €399 / £369 in India and Europe. The smartphone will go on sale from June 24 via leading platforms.
