Over the past few years a huge amount of mobile market has been transferred to online. But there are many people who prefer buying offline. Seeing this some OEMs are started to move into offline market. Now today, another OEM also decided to step into the offline market.
OnePlus has decided to start selling their current flagship OnePlus 5 in offline market via Croma retail stores. Few months back OnePlus launched their experience store where all OnePlus products are available offline, but as of now it’s only in Delhi and Bengaluru. With Croma OnePlus will expand their offline availability in many Indian cities. This will surely increase their sales as there are still many people who prefer to buy offline as we can get an hands-on experience before buying the product. Both variants of OnePlus 5 will be available at the same price of Amazon India and oneplusstore.in i.e. 6GB variant @ INR 32,999 and 8GB variant @ INR 37,999. Also all three colours will be available for the respective models, same as online retailers.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. It’s nice to see that OEMs are making their phone available to both offline & online markets. Also it’s good that OEMs like OnePlus isn’t making any difference between the pricing of online and offline market. So what’s your preferred market choice to buy new smartphone ? Online or offline ?
