Oppo will be launching the new OPPO F29 series later today in India and it is said that the smartphone series will be the Durable Champion. The smartphone series is created for durability, reliability, and performance. The device is meant for India’s gig economy, including drivers, delivery partners, shopkeepers, and business owners.
The upcoming OPPO F29 series is made in OPPO’s Greater Noida factory, and the smartphone series is the lightweight. The company is bringing the device with IP66 (resists heavy rain or a rogue water hose), IP68 (survives 30 minutes in a flooded pothole or sink), and IP69 (handles high-pressure, hot water jets—think factory floors or Chennai summers). The devices will come with “Armour Body” design including shock-absorbing edges, reinforced corners, and a camera ring lifted to avoid scratches. The company has also introduced aerospace-grade metal inside the devices.
It is also said that the upcoming smartphone series goes through 14 military-grade tests, from -40°C freezes to desert-like dust storms. It also comes with a new “Hunter Antenna” and the same can boost signal strength by 300%.
