The wireless charging technology is available on smartphones as well and the same was initially available for the premium devices only. Apple was the brand that used wireless charging capability for its devices but other smartphone brands started to adopt the tech slowly. Now almost all the brands are offering wireless charging capability in the flagship smartphone segment.
Having said that, the brands realized that wireless charging is having demand and that’s why the same improved and now we have wireless charging on a mid range smartphone like Nothing Phone 1. Smartphone brands are also working hard to offer faster wireless charging solution as well.
