The newly announced Redmi 12C smartphone features a 6.71-inch IPS LCD display along with 1650 x 720 pixels resolution and a 20.6:9 aspect ratio. The device offers 500 nits of brightness, a 1500:1 contrast ratio, and a 70 percent NTSC color gamut as well.
It is running on Android 12 with MUI 13 on top. The device is coming with the power of the MediaTek Helio G85 mobile processor along with up to 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 5 GB of virtual RAM. The device is also coming with up to 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 storage that can be expandable using a microSD card.
The latest Redmi 12C offers features face unlock as well as a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. The device features a 5-megapixel camera on the front while the back panel of the device is having a 50-megapixel main camera along with a depth sensor and an LED flash.
The Redmi 12C is housing a massive 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. Regarding the connectivity options, the device supports dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a microUSB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
In terms of pricing and availability, the Redmi 12C with 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage is having a price tag of Rs 8,999 and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage is coming with a price tag of Rs 10,999. The device will be available from April 6 via Amazon India, Mi.com, Mi Store, and offline stores.
