Redmi the sub brand of the Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi has confirmed the launch date of its upcoming smartphone in the market of India and that is Redmi 9 Power.9 This smartphone was rumoured to launch in India on December 15 but it is arriving two days later. The company has shared an image on its official Twitter handle and confirms that this particular smartphone is arriving in the market of India and the same will hit on December 17.

Apart from the launch date, the company did not reveal any other information of the same but the very popular eCommerce platform Amazon has created a dedicated page for the upcoming Redmi 9 Power and it reveals that the device will feature 48 megapixel primary sensor.
Having said that, it is believed that the company will launch the device as a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 9 4G version which was announced in the market of China recently.
