During the launch of the much anticipated Redmi K40 Series, the company also unveiled its second-biggest TV yet with some noteworthy features. Let us check out the Redmi MAX TV 86″ in detail and get to know about its features and specifications.

It features an 86-inch LED-backlit LCD panel with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels (4K) along with a 120Hz refresh rate and MEMC. In terms of colour accuracy and picture quality, it supports10-bit colour, HDR, HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, Dolby Vision, and covers 92% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. The panel is also designed to deliver a 178-degree viewing angle.
We do not have word on the exact model of the CPU but it is made with 4x ARM Cortex-A73 cores and paired with ARM Mali-G52 MC1 GPU. In terms of memory, it comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The OS is MIUI for TV 3.0 and it comes packed with Xiao AI voice assistant.
Regarding connectivity, it features dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, Infrared, 2 X USB Type-A, AV, ATV/DTMB, S/PDIF, Ethernet, and 3 x HDMI. Among the three HDMI ports, one is v2.1 with support for 120Hz VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode). This allows users to hook their consoles to experience 4K 120Hz gaming. The company did not skimp on audio and it comes with two 12.5 speakers delivering 25W output and this support Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD.

It is priced at CNY 7,999 ($1,239) and will go on sale in China from March 4.
