Redmi has introduced a special edition tablet in the markets of China called the Redmi Pad 2 Pro Harry Potter Edition with the themed accessories. The device has the same hardware as the standard variant which was introduced in the month of September last year. The company has made cosmetic changes and some changes in software. The Redmi Pad 2 Pro Harry Potter Edition comes with a 12.1-inch LCD screen with 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display hits 600 nits of brightness and the device comes with Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. It also supports a touch sampling of up to 360Hz, and stylus input reaches 240Hz. The display of the device has China Quality Certification Center Visual Dimension S++ rating and TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light, flicker-free operation, and rhythm-friendly viewing. The tablet with 12GB/256GB storage option comes with a soft light screen.
Redmi has introduced the new Redmi Pad 2 Pro Harry Potter Edition with the power of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor along with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It is worth mentioning that the storage expands up to 2TB with a microSD card.
The device houses a large 12,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging that supports QC2.0, QC3.0, QC3+, PD2.0, and PD3.0 charging through USB Type-C. The device also includes four speakers provide Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio. The device also supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi Direct, Miracast, MU-MIMO, IPv6, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB 2.0 data transfer. The tablet runs Xiaomi HyperOS 3 along with 8MP camera on the back and an ultra-wide on the front.
It also comes in blue with a Hogwarts logo on the back along with a themed protective case, a carrying bag with a strap, a wand-styled stylus with a replacement tip, and stickers. The tablet costs CNY 2,599 for the 8GB/256GB model.
