The device features a 6.7 inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, and also sports a waterdrop-like notch on the top of the display. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor along with 6/8GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device comes with 128 GB internal storage and that can be expandable up to 512 GB via microSD card. Having said that, the 6GB RAM variant of the device only has the MicroSD slot which means if you choose the 8GB RAM variant then you will not able to expand the storage.
Moving to the camera department, the new Galaxy A90 5G rocks triple rear camera setup and that is in the combination of a 48-megapixel f/2.0 main shooter, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. There’s a 32-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone also supports the in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock for the additional layer of security.
Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, and USB Type-C. The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G runs One UI based on Android 9 Pie and packs on a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
Pricing and availability
The smartphone has the price tag of KRW 900,000 and it will available in South Korea from tomorrow onwards. There is no exact timeline for the availability of the device in other parts of the world.
