Today at the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung announced the much-awaited Galaxy Note 10 series. But that’s not the only launch at the event. Samsung had also launched a notebook, Galaxy Book S. This is a slim and lightweight notebook targeting those who want portability and light productivity. So let’s have a look at the specs.
This notebook sports 13.3 inch IPS LCD display with Full HD (1920×1080) resolution with a touchscreen. It comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor clocked at 2.81Ghz and built on 7nm process. It has 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with up to 512GB of internal storage. There’s an expandable option up to 1TB. It’s running on Windows 10 OS out of the box, and can be connected be Galaxy Note 10 series easily with an in-built app. For security, it has a fingerprint sensor and Windows Hello.
It runs in 42Wh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 support. It will be charged by Type-C charger of Galaxy Note 10. So it should support 25W fast charging. It has AKG speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos. For connectivity it has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Type-C port. Do note that it only had Type-C port, no USB port or any other port is available. It’s made up of anodised aluminium which looks premium and sturdy. It is very lightweight at just 0.96kg and just 11.8mm thin. It will be available in Mercury Grey and Earthy Gold colour options, and will be available in this fall.
