The South Korean electronics giant Samsung has officially introduced a brand new mobile phone dubbed the Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G. The newly announced Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G features a dual-tone design with three vertical stripes running on the left side of the device and it has a slim profile. The Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel along with an FHD+ resolution, a 1,000 nits peak brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
It also features a punch-hole cutout at the centre position of the screen and the display is integrated with a fingerprint scanner. Speaking about the camera department, the device features a 50MP selfie snapper while the back panel of the device has a 50MP OIS-enabled main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro unit. The device also comes with features including nightography, dual recording, and more.
The latest Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC along with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery along with a 45W fast charging. The phone runs on Android 14 with OneUI 6.1 out of the box. The device also comes with features like Samsung Knox Vault, Quick Share etc. It also features Voice Focus mode as well.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G starts at Rs 19,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB variant and the pricing of the 8+256GB and 12+256GB models has not been revealed. It will be available from September 26 from Amazon, Samsung official, and retail stores across the country.
