The Samsung W20 foldable device was making noise from the past couple of weeks, and now the company has made it official in the market of China and it is actually a rebranded version of the Galaxy Fold. Specifications of Samsung W20
The smaller display has a size of just 4.3 inch with HD+ Super AMOLED (1960 x 840) resolution and 21:9 aspect ratio, and the larger display, it has a size of 7.3 inch Infinity Flex Dynamic AMOLED with a QXGA+ (2152 x 1536 pixels resolution). It comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 Plus processor and paired with 12GB of massive RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
On the camera department, it has a 12MP sensor with an f/1.5 dual aperture lens and dual pixel OIS. The secondary is also a 12MP sensor but with f/2.4 telephoto 2x zoom lens, autofocus, and OIS. Lastly, the third one is a 16MP sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle (133) lens but with a fixed focus. It can record videos up to 4K at 60fps, 1080p at 240fps, and 720p at 960fps. On the front, there is a 10MP sensor with an f/2.2 lens and 80-degree field of view, and also a secondary 8MP depth sensor with f/2.2 lens and dual pixel autofocus. This device also has a 4K video recording option from the front camera. Other camera features are AR Emojis, Stickers, and live focus.
This Galaxy W20 runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with Samsung’s One UI on top. It packs two sets of batteries within that makes the power of 4,235 mAh combined together. It has fast charging support. It has a single speaker with Dolby ATMOS support and features Wireless PowerShare. The device also features the in-display fingerprint sensor. For connectivity, it has 5G, dual-band Wi-FI 6, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, aptX HD, and Type-C port.
Pricing and availability
The company is yet to announce the pricing detail of the new device and it is confirmed that the device will available in the market of China from next month. But there is no information about the actual date and the availability of the same in other parts of the world.
