A couple of months back, we updated that the popular social media application Instagram started to test a new feature which will allow users to hide the likes on a post. Well, now we got a new piece of information which suggests that the parent company – Facebook is also gearing up to implement the same feature.
According to reverse engineering expert Jane Wong, the social networking giant Facebook is started to test the feature and she found the code on the application of facebook.
The feature will work similar to the Instagram as the total count can only visible to the owner of the content. Others can see the likes of the mutual friends. As I mentioned above, the feature is under the development stages and that’s why we don’t have any information about the availability but we believe that the company will roll out the feature very soon and we will bring the latest updates at your fingertips.
