To offer full view experience, the smartphone brands tried various type of notches and the punch hole setup is the new trend in the industry. Well, now the South Korean electronics brand LG is gearing up to launch a new smartphone with the latest trend of the punch hole design.
If you are unaware about the punch hole setup, then it’s a new method to accommodate the front facing camera under the display. We already have a good number of devices with the new setup, and now LG is developing a new smartphone with the trendy punch hole setup.
As LG granted a patent by the Turkish Patent Institute for a new smartphone with a punch hole front camera, and this would be for the first time in the portfolio of the Korean brand.
Furthermore, the schematics in the application shows a punch hole in the top left corner of the display, and the rear side of the smartphone looks similar to the LG V40 ThinQ.
As of now, we don’t have any other information about the upcoming LG smartphone. We are looking forward to hear more about the smartphone in the coming days.
