Spotify India has announced that they have revised the current daily and weekly plans. In addition, the company has also announced a new Premium Mini Plan which comes at a cheaper price than initial rates These modifications brings down the cost of having Spotify Premium down in India.
Spotify has reduced the daily plan cost from INR13 and INR39 to INR7 and INR25 respectively. The new mini-plans announced comes at a reduced cost than normal plans but the users who subscribe will have to sacrifice some of the premium features as well. If you buy the newly announced mini-plan, you can only reap the benefits while using a mobile device and while using Spotify on a computer, those benefits will not apply. In addition, the download limit has come down to just 30 songs on one device. In comparison, with the regular plan, you could download up to 10,000 songs on five devices at once.
Spotify has also brought down the cost of yearly plans from INR1,189 to INR999. But this offer is valid only till December 31st of this year. Except for these changes, the old plans continue to exist. For reference, these are INR119 for a month for a single user, INR149 for the Duo plan and finally INR179 plan that can be used by up to six accounts.
