1. Nokia 3, 5, & 6 Launched in India :
After waiting for so long for Nokia’s 1st series of Android smartphones, now Nokia officially launched their Android line-up in India. This line-up contains 3 phones : Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. The Nokia 3 is an entry level phone with mediocre specs like MediaTek processor, 8MP Camera and 720p display. The Nokia 5 is a budget phone which has slight upgrades over Nokia 3 like Snapdragon 430 processor and 13MP Camera. Now the Nokia 6 is as of now most premium Android phone by Nokia, as compared to other two. The Nokia 6 will be Amazon exclusive whereas other two phones will be offline exclusive. 2. HTC U 11 Launched in India :
After almost 1 month of the unveiling of HTC U 11 in Taiwan, HTC finally launched this phone in India this week. It packs some very premium specs like Snapdragon 835 SoC, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12MP Dual Pixel Rear Camera. Also they added a new feature named as Edge Sense Technology through which we can perform various tasks by squeezing the phone. The phone is priced at INR 51,990 which seems to be decent, not too aggressive and not too expensive. But as always HTC will decrease the price in 1 month or 2. 3. Samsung Galaxy J7 Max and J7 Pro launched in India :
This week Samsung also launched two new phones in their popular midrange line-up Galaxy ‘J’ series, Galaxy J7 Pro and J7 Max. The J7 Pro seems to have some better specs like AMOLED display, Exynos processor, bigger battery and smaller form factor as compared to Galaxy J7 Max. The J7 Max has more RAM & storage and bigger display. We all know the these phones sre on the expensive side as compared to the specs, but these phones will do well due to the Samsung’s brand image. 4. Honor Unveiled Honor 9 Smartphone :
This week Honor unveiled the successor of Honor 8, the Honor 9. This seems to be marginal upgrade over it’s predecessor. The camera on both phones are almost same, Dual Cameras with Monochrome image processing. The processor used in Honor 9 is HiSilicon Kirin 960 instead of Kirin 950 on Honor 8. There are some changes in design like the fingerprint sensor is placed on the home button at the front instead of Honor 8, which has this on the back. 5. Qualcomm Unveiled New Technologies Related To Sounds :
Qualcomm technologies announced some advanced technologies in audio enhancements in its voice and music developer conference. Qualcomm’s new products include next-generation amplifier chipsets for headphones and speakers, as well as new audio system-on-chip (SoCs) platforms.
