Back in October, the Chinese smartphone brand Vivo unveiled the Vivo iQoo Neo 855 and that featured the greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset along with heavyweight features. Well, today the company has launched the boosted variant of the device and its dubbed as Vivo iQoo Neo 855 Racing Edition with the Snapdragon 855 Plus.
Specifications of Vivo iQoo Neo 855 Racing Edition
It features a 6.38-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution and has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, along with a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, it also sports waterdrop shaped notch. It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor and paired with 8/12GB of RAM and Adreno 640 GPU for the graphical task. In terms of storage, the smartphone supports 128 GB internal storage.
Moving to the photography department, the Vivo iQoo Neo 855 Racing Edition rocks triple rear cameras and that’s in the combination of a 12-megapixel primary camera with dual-pixel tech and an f/1.79 aperture followed by an 8-megapixel wide-angle with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, the supports a 16-megapixel camera with dual-pixel technology and an f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone supports the in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock for the security.
Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS, and 4G VoLTE support, USB Type-C port, and 3.5mm headphone jack. The Vivo iQoo Neo 855 Racing Edition runs on Android 9 Pie with Monster UI, and the smartphone backed on 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charge support.
Pricing and availability
The 8GB RAM variant is priced at CNY 2,598 while the 12 GB RAM variant will cost CNY 2,798. The pre-orders for the device started in China and there is no information about the availability of the device in other parts of the world.
