Back in March, the Chinese smartphone brand Vivo unveiled its new smartphone on the Vivo S1 and now it seems that the company is gearing up to launch the device in the market of India.
The company did not reveal any information about the launching of the smartphone but a teaser image got leaked and that shows that the smartphone will launch is coming soon. It is also said that the company is rebranding the Vivo S1 version of the Vivo V15 smartphone which is already available in the Indian market, and if this information is true then the Indian variant of the Vivo S1 will be different from the actual one.
Specifications of Vivo S1
The smartphone sports a 6.53 in full HD+ display along with 19:5:9 aspect ratio and it is coming without any type of notch on the top of the display. The device is power by Helio P70 processor and paired with 6 GB of RAM, along with GPU Turbo. In terms of storage, the device supports 128 GB of internal storage and that can be expandable via micro SD card.
Moving to the photography department, the Vivo S1 rocks a triple camera setup at the back consisting of 12MP, 8MP (wide-angle), and 5MP (depth sensor) modules. Up front, the smartphone features a 24.8MP pop-up camera. The device also supports a fingerprint scanner and that can be accessed at the rear side, along with in-house Jovi AI-based voice assistant which can be activated by pressing the dedicated button located on the left side.
Regarding the connectivity, the smartphone supports Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS + GLONASS, and micro-USB. It runs on Android Pie-based Funtouch OS 9 out-of-the-box, and ships on a 3,940 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
