Vivo has finally announced the launching date of the latest Vivo V40 series for the market of India. The smartphone series will include the vanilla variant and the Pro variant. The smartphone series will also come with ZEISS branded camera sensors as well. It is officially confirmed that Vivo will be launching the new Vivo V40 series in India on August 7. The company has also confirmed that the smartphone series will feature a pill-shaped camera island and the same will feature a circular module that houses two sensors along with an oblong module accommodating an aura LED flash as well as a third lens which is available only on the Pro model.
Both devices will be supporting ZEISS-branded cameras and a 50MP selfie snapper on the board. It is also confirmed that the upcoming Vivo V40 Pro will come with a 50MP OIS-enabled primary camera along with a 50MP telephoto and 50MP ultra-wide-angle unit. The devices will also feature a ZEISS multifocal portrait and the same will enable you to capture at multiple focal lengths including 24, 35, 50, 85, and 100mm.
The Vivo V40 and V40 Pro come with a slim profile and the smartphone series features an IP68 dust and water-resistant certification as well. The upcoming Vivo V40 Pro smartphone is also confirmed to be the slimmest smartphone with a massive 5,500mAh battery. The device will also support 80W fast charging and it will be available in Ganges Blue and Titanium Grey color options. While the vanilla variant will be available with the same colour options along with an additional Lotus Purple shade.
