The popular Chinese smartphone brand Vivo is working on its upcoming flagship smartphone series called the Vivo X100 series and the same is expected to be announced by the end of this year. Today we got the important information related to the display and camera department of the top model of the smartphone series and the same is called the Vivo X100 Pro Plus. According to the latest information, the upcoming Vivo X100 Pro Plus flagship smartphone will feature a 6.78-inch OLED display along with a 120Hz refresh rate and the device is also expected to feature a curved-edge display along with a QHD+ resolution. The smartphone will be supporting an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor as well.
It is also reported that the upcoming Vivo X100 Pro Plus smartphone will be running on Android 14 with OriginOS 4.0 on top. It will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor and the chipset is expected to be announced in October.
The chipset will be paired with either 16 or 24 GB LPDDR5x RAM as well as up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. It is also said that the company will be launching the device with a Sony IMX989 50-megapixel primary sensor on the back with a variable aperture followed by an IMX598 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, an IMX758 50-megapixel portrait lens, and a 200-megapixel telephoto camera and the same is also believed to be a periscope zoom camera as per other reports. The source did not reveal any information about the front facing camera.
