The popular Chinese smartphone brand Vivo introduced the latest Vivo X100 series in China last year and now the company is planning to expand the series by launching multiple devices such as the Vivo X100 Pro Plus and the Vivo X100s. It is reported that one of the upcoming Vivo devices will feature a 1.5K display with 2160Hz PWM high-frequency dimming whereas the other model will be coming with a 2K Samsung E7 panel with 1440Hz PWM dimming. These two devices are expected to be the Vivo X100s and X100 Pro Plus.
The report also says that the company will be launching its flagship smartphone with a 50MP Sony LYT 900 1-inch main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 200MP periscope unit.
It was previously reported that the Pro Plus model will come with satellite communication technology as well. It will come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor along with 24GB LPDDR5T RAM and 1TB UFS 4 storage. The device is also expected to come with a large 5,400mAh battery along with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.
On the other hand, the Vivo X100s is believed to come with the power of a Dimensity 9300 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery with support for either 100W or 80W charging. The device is expected to feature two 50MP camera sensors and a 64MP telephoto lens.
