After unveiling the Vivo V11 Pro and , today the Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has launched another device and this time the company expanded its ‘Y series’ and the new device is called Vivo Y97. That said, the device is coming with the similar design to the Vivo V11 and the back side of the device comes with a 3D arc and that will give more comfort to the users to hold the device.

The device sports 6.3-inch Full-HD+ display and has 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution and that has 19:9 aspect ratio. That said, the device also features a Waterdrop notch. and has a 90.3% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by octa-core Helio P60 processor and coupled with 4 GB of RAM along with the Mali-G72 MP3 for the graphical task. Regarding the storage options, the device has 128 GB of internal storage and it can be expandable upto 256 GB microSD card.
Coming to the camera department, the Vivo Y97 has a dual camera setup at the back with the combination of 16 megapixel (f/2.0 aperture) + 2 megapixel (2.4 aperture) with with AI Portrait Mode, AI Beauty and LED flash, along with 16 megapixel front shooter with f/2.0 aperture, and the smartphone also supports AR Stickers. Moreover, it also features the Jovi AI-based Digital Assistant. The device supports the IR Face Unlock to give the maximum security to the users.
Talking about the connectivity, the device supports 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and microUSB. The Vivo Y97 boots on Android Oreo 8.1 which is based on Funtouch OS 4.0, and it ships on 3,315 mAh battery.
Pricing and availability of Vivo Y97
The device has the price tag of ¥1998 (approx. ₹20,996), and the device will be available in China. Having said that, there is no information about the availability of the device in other parts of the world.
