Key Points:
- The deadline has been extended.
- WhatsApp says that there are many confusions and misinformation.
- Now the same will be implemented by the second quarter of the Year.
WhatsApp recently updated its terms of services and the same ask user to agree unless they will not able to use the very popular instant messaging application.
The company set the deadline for February 8 and if you won’t agree with the condition before the deadline then you will not able to continue using the messenger.
It created frustration and disturbance between the users and many people started to move to other instant messaging applications like Telegram and the signal or others.
Now WhatsApp came forward and says that the deadline has been extended to May 15 which means the second quarter of the year and the reason behind the extension is due to the conclusions and misinformation between the users.
Thank you to everyone who’s reached out. We're still working to counter any confusion by communicating directly with @WhatsApp users. No one will have their account suspended or deleted on Feb 8 and we’ll be moving back our business plans until after May – https://t.co/H3DeSS0QfO
