Since 2018, the world’s most favourite instant messaging application WhatsApp is testing the payments feature on the board and the company was struggling to get the green signal from the authorities to roll out the feature for the users of the country. Well, the company has secured all the rights for the feature and the same is official across the country.
The world’s most favourite instant messaging application has confirmed the arrival of Whatsapp Pay via its official Twitter handle and the same will available across the country from today onwards.
WhatsApp has introduced its new feature in 10 languages and the company will offer the facility for the users of Android as well as iOS. The company also claims that users can able to send and receive money as simple as they send a message on the instant messaging application.
Just like other popular payments app, the new WhatsApp Pay is also powered by UPI payments infrastructure. The company has also confirmed that it has joined its hand with five banking partners to roll out the service in the country and the partners are ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, the State Bank of India, and Jio Payments Bank.
The feature will arrive on the stable version of WhatsApp and you guys can able to check the update on the official App Store or Play Store on your device’s.
