Withings has officially introduced the new BeamO at CES 2024 event and the device is actually a multi-purpose device that will be offering four key health checkups in under a minute. The BeamO combines the functionalities of a thermometer, electrocardiogram (ECG), oximeter, as well as stethoscope and all of them will be available in a single handheld device.
The latest BeamO is a very compact and candy bar-shaped device. The device features a joystick controller that will enable you to cycle through its features. It also features a display and you need to use a companion application to guide you when using the stethoscope.
The latest BeamO has electrodes on the side that will enable you to measure your blood oxygen levels and heart rate, the device will also enable you to perform a 1-lead ECG. The device also features a temperature scanner that reads your temperature from your temporal artery, and it also has a piezoelectric disc that will be capturing chest or back acoustic sounds.
The device has a price tag of $250 and it will be available from June this year. We don’t have any information about the availability of the device in India.
