Back in October, we updated that Xiaomi has reduced the gap between Samsung in terms of market share in India. And now the day is here which again reminds everyone, that everything has to be changed in some day. As Samsung ended its monopoly in the Indian market, with the new report Xiaomi is now equal with Samsung in market share in the Indian market. Moreover, the Chinese brand sets record for more ships of devices in the Q3.
According to the latest statistics from IDC, which says that both Xiaomi and Samsung having 23.5 percent for the Q3 of 2017. Both the companies made an incredible 47 percent of the market share in the country, with Lenovo-Motorola (9 percent), Vivo (8.5 percent), and Oppo (7.9 percent) coming to the top five chart.
Moreover, the Chinese manufacturer set yet another record, as the company was able to ship 9.2 million devices in the Q3 of this year. And the huge numbers say that a 300% growth rate for the company in year on year, the company’s Managing Director Xiaomi India, Manu Kumar Jain announced the news on Twitter.

Now Samsung has to make some immediate decision to come back into the market otherwise Xiaomi will go up over the Samsung, and it will be interesting to see what Samsung going to do next.
