A couple of days ago, We updated that the Chinese smartphone brand Oppo and Xiaomi is working on the in-display front facing camera. It will be placed under the display instead of any type of notch such as punch-hole, but at that time, both the brands did not reveal how the technology will work in actual. But today the Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi explained how will it’s in-display front camera will work.
Xiaomi Senior VP Wang Xiang has now shared a couple of slides which explain how the in-display front camera will work. The company is working on a custom display which will have a small transparent area and that will be made with a special low reflective glass with high transmittance.

Now the company explains what actually happens when somebody activates the front camera, it will become transparent and allows light to enter. In this way, the company will deliver full screen display without implementing any type of notch on the top of the display.
Furthermore, this technology will also deliver more clear and crispy selfies. Xiang did not reveal that on which device the company will implement this technology and when it will debut.
