The popular smartphone maker’s Xiaomi has unveiled a new smartphone and that is dubbed as Xiaomi Mi Play, the company has launched the device in the Chinese market and with the device, the company attracts the users who prefer to buy a mid-range smartphone. Specification of Xiaomi Mi Play
The smartphone sports a 5.84 inch Full HD+ display and has 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution along with a 19:9 aspect ratio, the device also has a waterdrop shaped notch on the top of the display. It is powered by 2.35 GHz MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor and paired with 4 GB RAM, along with IMG-GE8320 GPU. Regarding the storage, the smartphone has 64 GB of internal storage and that can be expandable via microSD Card.
Talking about the camera department, the Xiaomi Mi Play rocks dual camera setup at the back and that’s in the combination of 12 megapixel (1.25 μm pixel size) + 2 megapixel with Portrait Mode, AI Beauty Mode, HDR, EIS and LED flash, the device also has an 8 megapixel front facing camera with HDR and AI Beauty Mode. The smartphone also supports Fingerprint Scanner, and Xiao AI Assistant.
In terms of connectivity, the device supports 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and micro USB. It runs on MIUI 10 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and backed on 3,000 mAh battery to keep the lights on.
Pricing and availability of Xiaomi Mi Play
The smartphone is priced at ¥1099 (approx. ₹11,136), and it will be available in China, there’s no information about the availability of the device in other parts of the world.
