The Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi has unveiled its new smart TV in the European market dubbed Xiaomi TV A2 and it is running on the Android TV operating system. The company has introduced 4 display variants of the smart TV and it offers up to 50 inch display. The company has introduced the smart TV in four sizes including 32-inch, 43-inch, 50-inch, and 55-inch. All the display models of the smart TV features an LED-backlit LCD panel. But the 32-inch model is coming with an HD-ready panel.
The device is also featuring a 60Hz refresh rate along with a 178° viewing angle. However, the 4K models of the smart TV features 10-bit color depth, MEMC, HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision.
Xiaomi TV A2 is powered by a quad-core chipset but the 32-inch variant features ARM Mali G31 MP2 GPU and the remaining models feature ARM Mali G52 MP2.
Regarding the connectivity options, the smart TV features Bluetooth 5.0, 2 x USB 2.0, AV composite, optical audio port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and CI slot. The 4K models support 3 x HDMI (1 x eARC) and dual-band WiF but the HD model comes with 2 X HDMI (1 x eARC), DTMB port, and single-band WiFi.
All the models of the smart TV features Dolby Audio and DTS HD, the 32-inch model houses 2 x 10W speakers instead of 2 x 12W speakers like the other models of the TV. The smart TV also supports Google Assistant (via remote control), Chromecast Built-in, Miracast, and support for leading streaming platforms.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the company has revealed the pricing of the 55 inch variant of the smart TV only and it is having a price tag of €529 and it will be available in Europe but there is no information on the availability dates at this moment of time.
