YouTube is the place where people views videos a lot, and because of that Google always tries to bring new and handy features into the platform. In the latest bid, YouTube the world’s most favourite video viewing platform showing ‘breaking news’ section on the homepage. The new feature will available on Android, iOS and the desktop version.
The ‘breaking news’ section works in the same way as its name suggests, the all new section will feature videos related to the breaking news. It will be displayed in horizontally format, and it allow you to scroll. The videos which shows in breaking news may depend your region and location. However, the section features the Barcelona attack news. And it worth to mention that the videos are not uploading by YouTube itself, it is coming from various channels depending on the region they live in.
YouTube also gives control to you, which means you decide whether you want to see or not want to see the breaking news section. If you are not interested in the news then you can remove the section, just click on the ‘x’ on desktop or the menu of the section in the mobile app.
