Alleged Rendered Photo Of OnePlus 5T Got Leaked

From past 2 generations, OnePlus has done a great job in terms of giving a true flagship smartphone at low cost. The OnePlus 3/3T launched in 2016 and OnePlus 5, all three smartphones are compared with the smartphones that are twice the price of these OnePlus phones. At the end of last year OnePlus launched OnePlus 3T smartphone, which replaced OnePlus 3 with some minor upgrades. Seems like OnePlus will repeat the history this year as well. We have got some rumours and a new leaked image which is said to be the OnePlus 5T, the next flagship smartphone by OnePlus.

1st let’s talk about the leaked image of this new OnePlus 5T. The most noticeable change you will notice here is the bezel-less display with different aspect ratio. Now the phone looks like a mixture of Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6. The overall design looks like LG G6, but the bezel-less & curved sides look a lot like Galaxy S8. As of now, we are not in a mood to believe in this image. Because if you look carefully at the left & right sides of the phone, you will notice that there’s no Alert Slider on the phone. Alert Slider is a trademark or one of a small USP of OnePlus phones, in Android smartphones. Also, we have seen an exact same design in Oppo F5. So I suggest you that don’t set this image in your mind as of now.

Now coming to the rumours that are floating around the internet. The rumours indicates that the biggest improvement in OnePlus 5T is in terms of display. It will sport a 6” 1080p Full HD+ display with bezel-less design and 18:9 aspect ratio, which means that the resolution will be 2160×1080. As of now, we don’t know anything else about the internals of OnePlus 5T.

So that’s all the information we have as of now. Personally speaking, I am little confused whether OnePlus will launch a OnePlus 5T or not! As last year Qualcomm launched Snapdragon 821 processor in the 2nd of the year, which replaced Snapdragon 820. And OnePlus also wanted to be latest so they launched OnePlus 3T. But this year Qualcomm hasn’t announced any new flagship processor other than Snapdragon 835, which is present in OnePlus 5. So what are your thoughts on this new leaks & rumors?
