Google rename Now on Tap to ‘Screen Search’, and Now Cards to ‘Feed’

After rebranding Nexus to Pixel, now Google has renamed its Now on Tap to ‘Screen Search’ and Now Cards to ‘Feed’. In the latest update of Google app on Android, the latest v6.5 has the rename and this version is available only for the beta users.




In the settings of the Google app, you will not see changes in the functionality of the app, but you can see name change for a normal user. There’s another feature has added in the latest update, Google has added ‘In Apps’ feature.


Google introduced the ‘In Apps’ feature last month, The In Apps search mode will help you to find information from inside apps. Google was said a dedicated shortcut on homescreen of LG V20 first. But in the latest update of Google app beta gives the shortcut option to all the users.


To add In Apps shortcut to your homescreen to access it quickly, head to settings of the Google app. And tap on the In Apps and you will see an option to ‘Add to home screen’.
