Since the story feature debuted on Instagram, the popularity of the feature has gone beyond every border. The feature is actually cloned from Snapchat, but it got the popularity only after it landed on Instagram and WhatsApp, and now you can find the feature on Facebook as well as messenger too. Now YouTube is bringing similar kind of feature with a new name called Reels, and it is for creators.
The all-new Reels will not need to expire after 24 hours, as it can be kept forever, and the feature allows you to organize your Reels into different events or projects. And the Reels may appear on the homepage of YouTube, as recommendations, if you engage with them often.
The process of creating Reels is too easy, if you are a creator then you will able to record a few videos of up to 30 seconds each. And then it allows you to add filters, music, and text to the Reels, you can able to add some “YouTube-y” stickers and links to their other YouTube videos.
Speaking about the availability of the feature, YouTube hasn’t said any official word about the official rollout of the feature. However, the feature is currently rolled out to a limited number creators. So, let’s wait to get the feature for all the creators.
