It’s been a long time since Lenovo has launched any new smartphone in India. But seems like the wait of Lenovo fans is over now. Few days back Lenovo announced the launch date of their new device, & today they did it. Lenovo has launched their new Lenovo K8 Note smartphone in India. So let’s have a look at what’s inside this phone.
This Lenovo K8 Note has a unibody metal design with 5000 series aluminium used on the body. This phone is powered by MediaTek’s Helio X23 processor which is a 10 core processor clocked at 2.3Ghz built on Cortex A-72 architecture. The GPU used here is Mali-T880 MP4. It sports a 5.5” Full HD 1080p IPS LCD display with 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 3 on top. It has two storage variants; one is 3GB+32GB variant & other is 4GB+64GB variant.
Both comes with dedicated MicroSd Card slot which can add additional 128GB of storage. It has 4000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. It comes with 13MP + 5MP dual rear camera with f1.7 lens and dual tone LED flash, the secondary camera will produce those bokeh shots which can be taken with phones like iPhone 7 Plus, OnePlus 5, and Honor 6X. On the front there’s a 13MP shooter with f2.0 wide angle lens, LED flash, and for the 1st time a pro mode or manual mode on front camera.
Now talking about the software, Lenovo has taken a big but good step in regards to software. This Lenovo K8 Note comes with STOCK ANDROID 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. Yes, you read it right. Recently Lenovo announced that all their upcoming smartphones will ship with stock android, no Vibe UI. It has all basic connectivity features like 4G LTE, VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, and USB OTG. Other features include fingerprint sensor, splash resistance, TheaterMax, and Dolby Atmos.
This Lenovo K8 Note comes in two colours; Venome Black and Fine Gold. Below are all the details of pricing and availability of the device:
- 3GB + 32GB variant is priced at INR 12,999 and 4GB + 64GB variant is priced at INR 13,999.
- It will be available exclusively from Amazon India.
- 1st flash sale is on 18th August 12 noon.
- Some launch offers from Kindle, Idea Cellular, and Moto accessories are available.
So that’s all the information we have. Personally speaking it would be better if Lenovo would have gone with Snapdragon 626 or 630 processor instead of MediaTek one.
