Microsoft delighting Office users of Android, as the tech giant adds more Cloud Storage option for Office apps.
Microsoft has announced that its Cloud Storage Partner Program now available for Office users on Android platform. Users can edit, update and save documents in more Cloud Storage, which means you doesn’t need to depend one OneDrive but you can also use other providers like Dropbox, Box, Egnyte. The company said it will expand the number provides.
Unfortunately, Google Drive is not in the list but it will not be shocking as both the companies competing for more users. The Cloud Storage Partner Program was available on iOS from some time. Now it’s on Android, it is really good to see some love for the Android users.
You have to add your preferred provider from the ‘Add a place’ menu in the latest version of Office apps. You can edit, open and save documents on that particular platform.
