So now we are near the end of this month & seems like Motorola is not in a mood to stop the launches of new phone. Till now they have launched Moto Z2 Playand Moto E4 & Moto E4 Plus. In India, which is one of the important market for Motorola, they have launched the Moto Z2 Play along with Moto C & Moto C Plus which was unveiled in last month. Now seems like Motorola is planning to launch the Moto E4 Plus in India as well. Recently Motorola teased a new smartphone launch in India.
As you can see from the tweet above, they added a photo which indicates an empty battery indicator along with a ‘Oops’ written below this indicator. They also added a caption to the tweet that : “A dead phone is the modern day shortest horror story. We will ensure you don’t feel #Powerless again. What’s coming next ? #StayTuned” which indicates a battery centric phone is going to launch in India. & As of now that’s mostly the Moto E4 Plus, as it has a big 5000mAh battery capacity along with 10W Rapid charging of Motorola. Apart from this huge battery all other specs are just decent with nothing special in it, like Snapdragon 427 quad core processor, 5.5” 720p HD display with 2.5D glass, 2GB RAM with 16GB/32GB internal storage, fingerprint sensor, water repellent coating, 13MP + 5MP Camera and 4G VoLTE.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. Personally speaking I don’t know why Motorola is releasing this device, as for entry level segment they have Moto C Plus at INR 6,999 that too have 4000mAh battery, and if we move to a little high budget, then there’s the Moto G5 at INR 11,999 . So Motorola has to launch this phone between INR 9k – 10k, otherwise there will be two different kind of Motorola phones at same price bracket which will be not good for both phones.
