After the launch of OnePlus 3, OnePlus has become very serious in terms of software support to their devices. Especially for both OnePlus 3 & 3T. We all know that OnePlus frequently release updates for their Open Beta Program under which they test new features for Techies. Now today they released a new Open Beta update for both OnePlus 3 & 3T. So let’s have a look what this new update brings up.
This is Open Beta 23 for OnePlus 3 and Open Beta 14 for OnePlus 3T. Major changes in this update is August security patch, OnePlus Watermark, and Alarm Calendar. But have a look at the complete changelog below:
Now let’s have a look at the major changes. 1st thing you can see below is the August security patch (below is the screenshot). 2nd change is the Watermark, now you can add OnePlus watermark on the images taken vis OnePlus 3 & 3T too, it’s not only restricted to OnePlus 5 now. 3rd change is the scheduled alarm. In this feature you can add alarm at a particular date. It will be a lot more convenient than scheduling on calendar. There are a lot more improvements over the system and UI as well.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. The update size is 87MB on OnePlus 3T and 85MB one OnePlus 3. If you are already on Open Beta, check the system update and install it. But if you are on stable OOS ROM, download the OTA file for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T and install via local update. And stay tuned with us for more information.
