When a tech geek buys a new Android smartphone, regarding processor his first preference is non other than Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors. They are very common and powerful processors compared to many processors in Android smartphones. People and manufacturers choose Qualcomm’s processor because most of the high end games are well optimised with these processors, and installing customs ROMs are easy with Qualcomm processors. So like each year, this year also people are eagerly waiting for Qualcomm’s Flagship processor of 2017. And finally Qualcomm introduced it at the CES 2017 ‘The Qualcomm Snapdragon 835’ processor.
Snapdragon 835 is also one of the first peocessor based on 10nm FinFET manufacturing process. Due to this the processor is 35% smaller and 25% more power efficient compared to last years Snapdragon 821. This processor is also first device to support Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0. QC 4.0 is 20% more faster and 30% more efficient compared to Qualcomm Quicl Charge 3.0. Qualcomm also said that Quick Charge 4.0 can charge a device from 0 to 50% in just 15 minutes. Well that’s obvious that it depends on the battery capacity. Snapdragon 835 also has Qualcomm’s own security systems with the support of fingerprint sensor, iris sensor, face recognition and voice detection.
There’s no information that which devices will have it but Samsung’s new Flagship Galaxy S8’s Snapdragon variant will most probably have this Snapdragon 835. LG G6 is also expected to have the same. We will inform you regarding this as we get more information.
