Qualcomm, the smartphone processor manufacturers announces three new Snapdragon processors in the Snapdragon 600 and 400 tiers. The new processors are Snapdragon 653, Snapdragon 626 and Snapdragon 427.
The new processors receive a new X9 LTE modem and supports Quick Charge 3.0 and also supports dual cameras. It supports Cat 7 downlink speed upto 300 Mbps and Cat 13 uplink speed upto 150 Mbps
The Snapdragon 653 processor will perform 10% faster than 652, and the CPU speed increased upto 1.95 GHz. It also doubled the RAM upto 8 GB, also improves multitasking and system performance. The new 653 processor also enhanced Voice Services, which will definitely make VoLTE calls sound better.
The Snapdragon 626 is also 10% faster than 625 processor, it can be clocked upto 2.2 GHz. The 626 processor comes with Qualcomm’s TruSignal antenna boost, it will give good signal reception in the weak network areas.
The Snapdragon 427 processor also improves CPU and GPU than its predecessor 425. Clock speed were same at 1.4 GHz. The 427 also powered by Qualcomm’s TruSignal antenna boost.
The 653 and 626 processors will be available by the end of the year, and the 427 Processor will make its way by early 2017.
