Samsung has launched an Olympic Games Edition on its flagship Galaxy Note 8 with some special wallpapers and some customized looks.
Samsung has unveiled it’s limited edition Note 8 Devices for the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Games. The device has been unveiled in Seoul, South Korea. This special edition handset will be given to Olympic family and to the Olympic committee. It is estimated that around 4000 handsets will be distributed to the above-mentioned groups before the games begin in February.Moreover the back panel sports a shiny white glass gives royal look to the handset.
“We’re proud to provide the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Games Limited Edition to all athletes in an effort to help them to stay connected, capture and share one of the most memorable moments of their lives,” said Younghee Lee, CMO, and Executive Vice President, Samsung Electronics.
In terms of difference, the handset poses a slight change in the customized exterior with Olympic rings in gold color with Olympic Torch along the Rim. In addition to this, the S pen is also customized in the Golden finish. The software and hardware are identical to the original versions with some addition of PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Games-themed wallpapers.
