Samsung Made Galaxy S8 and S8+ Official

Finally, an end to a very popular topic on TechnoBugg from quite few months. We are talking about the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. We adapted posting atleast one Galaxy S8 leak daily as our routine. Now today Samsung finally launched there new flagship, The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. The specs are very similar to what we got in earlier leaks. But anyways, let’s have a look at the official internals & externals of Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. Let’s get started.

First let’s talk about the common specs of regular Galaxy S8 and S8+. Both will have either Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 octa core processor with Adreno 540 GPU or Exynos 9 series processor 8895 with Mali-G71 MP20 GPU (The processor depends on region). Both has 4GB of RAM & 64GB of internal storage with expandable storage upto 256GB via Micro SD card. Both phones are IP68 certified for water and dust resistance and the front & the back is protected with Gorilla Glass 5. The screen aspect ratio on both is 18:5:9. Both comes with 12MP Dual Pixel Rear Camera with f1.7 aperture, smart OIS and Dual tone LED flash. For selfies it has an 8MP Front Camera with autofocusing system and f1.7 aperture. Both comes with security features like fingerprint sensor, Iris scanner and the new face recognition of Samsung.

The Android version which comes in both phones is Android 7.0 Nougat with Samsung’s own UI on top. Type C port is present on both and both support fast charging as well as fast wireless charging via the charging pad. Dual SIM support is also there. Both has all the important sensors & also some specific Samsung sensors like heart rate sensor.

Now coming to the different specs between the Galaxy S8 and S8+, the regular Galaxy S8 sports a 5.8” QUAD HD Super AMOLED Display with 570 PPI and the Galaxy S8+ sports a 6.2” QUAD HD Super AMOLED Display with 529 PPI. The Galaxy S8 is 8.0mm thick while the Galaxy S8+ is 8.1mm thick. The battery capacity on Galaxy S8 is 3000mah and on Galaxy S8+ it’s 3500mah. The weight of regular one is 155gm while it’s 173gm for the bigger variant.

• 4GB RAM and 64GB storage expandable upto 256GB.

• 12MP Dual Rear Camerawith Dual tone LED flash, 8MP Front Camera with AF.

• Android 7.0 nougat out of the box.

• Bixby Artificial Intelligence feature.

• Fingerprint sensor, Iris scanner and face recognition.

• 3500mah battery with fast & fats wireless charging.

• IP68 certification.

• Weights at 173gm & 8.1mm thick.

• Dual SIM support with all connectivity options.

Both will come in Midnight Black, Orchid Grey, Coral Blue, Arctic Silver and Maple Gold. The pricing of US version of Galaxy S8 is $750 (Rs.48660) and Galaxy S8+ for $850 (Rs.55140). Do note that the pricing will be different in all regions. AKG headphones will be bundled in the box of both Galaxy S8 and S8+. The phone will go on sale on 21st April.
