WhatsApp to stop its support for Blackberry 10 and Windows Phone 8 and older platforms from December 31.
WhatsApp official page has revealed the end dates for various platforms like Blackberry 10 and Windows phone 8 as for December 31, which is so near. Already, the support for those above-mentioned devices has been planned to stop earlier this year, but the company has extended its support on those devices and finally, it comes to an end.
Other devices also fell on this line of sight. Some of them are, Nokia S40 which ends its support from Whatsapp from December 2018. Android devices which run on outdated Android 2.3.7 and older platforms will also fall. The Nokia S60, Symbian based handset has already ended the support from WhatsApp earlier this year.
As of now, it is clear that Blackberry 10 and Windows 8 Phone will not get support from Whatsapp and there might be no extension of the dates.Whatsapp has also revealed many new features for all other users, but the above-mentioned users will not be able to enjoy these features on their handsets from December 31.
