Xiaomi Launched Redmi 4 in India

Indian smartphone market for Xiaomi is the main market for their budget & mid-range ‘Redmi’ series. They launch almost all Redmi phones in India at an aggressive price. From few days back Xiaomi was teasing a new Redmi device to launch in India. Now today finally they launched Redmi 4. This phone was launched in China back in November 2016. So what’s inside this Redmi 4 ? Let’s find out..

This Redmi 4 comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435 octa core processor clocked at 1.4Ghz with Adreno 505 GPU. It sports a 5” 720p HD IPS LCD display with 296 PPI & 2.5D curved glass. It has 2GB/3GB/4GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal storage respectively with expandable storage upto 256GB. It has 13MP rear camera with PDAF, f/2.2 lens, 1080p video recording and LED flash. Also it has 5MP front facing camera with f/2.2 lens and 1080p video recording. 

It packs with the huge 4100mah battery with 5V 2A fast charging. It has fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone, same as all Redmi phones. On the software side it comes with Android 7 nougat Beta out of the box with Miui 8 on top. It weights at 150gms and is 8.9mm thick. It has Dual hybrid SIM support. It has all common connectivity features like 4G LTE, VoLTE, dual band WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1 . Also it has infrared sensor which comes with almost all Xiaomi phones.

It comes in two colour variants ; Black and Gold. Now coming to the pricing, Redmi 4 is priced at Rs.6,999 for 2GB/16GB variant, Rs.8,999 for 3GB/32GB variant and Rs.10,999 for 4GB/64GB variant. It will be available exclusively from Amazon India and the 1st flash sale will be on 23rd March at 12 PM.
