Motorola is gearing up to launch its premium devices called the Moto Edge 40 & Moto Razr 40 Ultra in the near future and today we got a new piece of information which is suggesting that the company has secured a green signal to launch the devices in India.
It is really that India’s BIS authority has approved two Motorola phones with the model numbers XT2303-2 and XT2321-1 and the same devices have also been approved for other certification platforms as well in the recent time. It is believed that the devices will be coming in the name as Moto Edge 40 & Moto Razr 40 Ultra (aka Razr+ 2023).
The Indian certification platform is not giving any information about the specifications of the upcoming devices but it is a clear indication of the arrival of the devices in the country.
Based on the previous reports, the upcoming Moto Edge 40 will feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED FHD+ display along with a 144Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cut out on the top of the screen as well as curved edges. The device is expected to come with the power of the upcoming Dimensity 8020 mobile processor along with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of internal storage. The device is expected to house a 4,400mAh battery with 68W charging and it will be running on Android 30.
The device is also expected to feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera while the back panel of the device will be coming with a 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) as well as 13-megapixel (ultra-wide) dual-camera unit on the back.
While the Moto Razr 40 Ultra is expected to come with a 6.7-inch foldable OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is expected to come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset along with 8 GB / 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The device is expected to house a 3,640mAh battery with 33W fast charging and it will be running on Android 13.
It is expected to come with a big cover display along with a dual-camera setup on the back panel and the device is also expected to feature a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
