The popular Chinese smartphone brand iQOO is gearing up to launch its new smartphone series called the iQOO Neo 8 series and the same will include the iQOO Neo 8 and 8 Pro. The company will be launching the devices on May 23. The company is yet to confirm the chipset details of the devices but it is expected that the upcoming devices will be coming with the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ on the Pro model and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 on the vanilla variant.
However, today the company has confirmed that the devices will come with a dedicated imaging chip to share the load and the same will be featuring Vivo V1+ chipset. It is also confirmed that the devices will feature a 144Hz refresh rate.
The Vivo V1+ chipset is capable to capture night shots and the same gets 32MB SRAM and 8GB/s data throughput speed. It is also capable to improve image brightness by 16% and white balance accuracy by 12%.
Separately, the images of the upcoming iQOO Neo 8 and Neo 8 Pro appear online and the same is showcasing the back panel of the devices. Both devices are coming with a rectangular camera module and the Neo 8 Pro features an “OIS” branding. The upcoming Neo 8 features a glossy panel in a green hue, while the Pro model can be visible in orange tone with a leather finish.
